PostSubject: ACTION ALERT! STAND AGAINST TYRANNY.   July 6th 2009, 19:50

From a post on Alarm and Muster:

We need to keep the heat on all this week, it is time to start the next round of calls. They will be emptying out the voicemail boxes and be back to work this morning, keep burning up the lines!

This is an EMERGENCY ACTION ALERT to stop S.1261, The Pass Act which is worse than Real ID. We need to contact all the members of the Senate Committee for Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs to kill this before it gets to the Senate floor.

Tell them:

1. We are opposed to Real ID and the PASS Act
2. We are opposed to being enrolled in a Biometric Identification System
3. We don't want Social Security Numbers in our DMV databases
4. No RFID chips in our Driver's Licences
5. No federal intervention with the issuance of our State driver's licenses
6. We are not willing to trade our freedom for security.

All of these actions are unconstitutional and a direct attack on our civil liberties and our unalienable rights.

This ID is a GLOBAL BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM (see this video for more details: ) and is a direct attack on our national security.

This will take you 16 minutes (one minute for each committee member) see their contact info:

GOOD post man.

I'm watching this closely myself.
People should contact these so-called reps.

personally I have my own system, and do some 'timely' contacting, but
do some all along.
I've learned how different reps handle repeat calls, and so I work-around.

Every contact by every person IS supposed to be logged somewhere though.

PostSubject: S 1261   July 7th 2009, 23:04

Hi folks,

I have read through S 1261 and I do not see anything in it which is especially inflammatory. I suppose I could be missing it, but I just don't see anything that jumps out as government over-reaching on our rights (which would probably send me off on another rant if I did!). The text of the proposed bill is available at Check it out for yourselves...

what I see that I don't like is it sounds like an opening for more extortion of the states, by the feds.

PostSubject: Well,...   July 8th 2009, 18:53

I found out just how much you can post in one post.....and the answer is...not much.

I've posted my reply on the blog ( ) but it's hard to find my responses, since the code didn't transfer over, and my red words are now .....well.....not red.

I'll try to edit them somehow and make them easier to see.

Or maybe Wilbur will see this and be able to steer us to what's wrong with it, and correct some of my errors in what it means before you guys even get to see me go stupid about this... Smile LOL

[ edit ] - well, it wouldn't fit very well there either.

I give up.

They want to make an ID card with facial recognition software on it( to go with the "traffic cameras" that don't point toward traffic), and a bunch of other stuff. I wrote a huge thing about it, and now can't get it to fit, even when I got it to 4 separate posts. I give up. Like the democrats say about the new bills they don't read........... " trust me."
