Coming soon to a country near and dear to all of us, I am afraid. It's already rampant on college campuses (campii?). I saw its roots almost 18 years ago when I was in one of the country's most liberal law schools, and it has spread like a flu virus to the general population, in which, if you don't say the right thing, you get shouted down, labeled as an insurrectionist, and treated as a pariah. Add to that an Obama administration that thinks it is OK to add any group that disagrees with the tax and spend socialistic government plan to a watch list, and we have a recipe for persecution based on beliefs and speech.

We can either fight it, or throw up our hands, ya know? I have many days that I feel like just saying " forget it" and giving in. I really do. I know you guys - and I'm not talkin' to you here,....but I feel the slow boil with the hard-core patriots among us...but I also feel like we might as well barricade the doors of the Alamo here, too.

I don't know where everyone is, or what's more important than what we're trying to do - all of us, Tea Party Patriots, 9.12project, resist.net, freedomworks....


but I sort of "feel" a slow down in the anger among the masses....I hope I'm wrong. I sense that tax day was perhaps the beginning and sadly, the end( for the MASSES) on our side. There will be those of us that push on, and give it what we can(or everything we have), but if people aren't riled up enough to stay angry and hungry for their liberty after all the government has done to them over the last decade, I don't know what it will take to get them to wake up.

We have 49 members here that have never made a post. I'm not going to keep begging people to get involved. We're just going to push on without them, and do our best to gain members that are more than just spectators to our fight.

Same here, Jeff. I guess I get discouraged, because it just seems there's nothing Obama can do that's frightening enough to stir the masses. I even wonder if we had another 9/11 (God forbid) type incident if the sheeple would put two and two together. I heard a clip of Andrea Mitchell saying Obama had "inherited" the North Korean situation from Bush!!! Can you believe it? What in the world is wrong with these people? They have to live in this country too. Is this really the kind of country they want, or do they think they'll, somehow, be exempt from having to live in the nanny state with the rest of us? All rhetorical questions, of course; but I, too, feel downhearted.
