- GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Farmers Market opened for business Tuesday morning with a variety of fresh spring crops ready for sale.
Hall County Farmers Market President David White said the there's one main thing that brings people out to the market.
"Freshness period... hands down," said White.
Despite the economic conditions the country is in White said it hasn't affected the market yet.
"We probably have our largest group of farmers we've had in several years to sign up this year," he said.
The Hall County Farmers Market operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays, opening at 6:30 a.m. Tuesdays and 7 a.m. on Saturdays until sellout. http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=220156 | |
