I can't stand when I here the term "far right". To use my tag line from Free Republic,

As usual, we allow the liberals to define us. What is "center" is socialism. To the right is "ultr-conservatism(which means a little individual freedom). And on the left is communism. How long will it be before more left means moving to socialism.

Powell, who admittedly advanced as a result of affirmative action, which means he did not make it by his own merit and skill would surely want more government.

I forwarded this to my 6th graders teacher. She loved it. I do too. I no longer people refer to far left far right. I stop the conversation and teach this

We must be the People( not the "party", but the PEOPLE) of Adams, Washington, Jefferson and Reagan.

We must remember who we are, as Americans. Not who they tell us we are. We must remember that before the statists were in power, before socialism tightened it's hands around the neck of liberty....

Americans did not back down.
