The government officially responded to the Drudge report, saying that it was actually stimulus for the ham producers, because they got to sell more ham, and stimulus for the poor, because they got to eat the ham.
What they don't realize is that the stimulus has to come from somewhere, which is from taxpayers (now and future). Taking money from one taxpayer to give stimulus to another results in negative stimulus, because the producers can't produce enough to support themselves and the looters, so they slow production.
