Fannie and Freddie, which reported combined losses of about $108 billion for 2008, are being propped up by capital infusions from the U.S. Treasury." Must be some great talent to be able to lose $108 billion in a year. I think I might be able to do that myself, but I'd probably at least have something to show for all of the money spent. So, these bonuses are exactly like the AIG bonuses. Its going to be interesting in how they treat these. I bet Barney Frank will be defending these, while he totally condemed the AIG bonuses. | |
