Love the book, very prophetic. He was about 25 years early with the date.

I read 1984 and Animal Farm in 9th grade and did book reports on both. Opened my eyes at a very young age and at a time when I needed intellectual support. Later I read Ayn Rand's Anthem and then had a pretty good arsenal to stand up to my friends and liberal teachers. Having grown up in the 60's/70's, I was pretty lonely with my conservative thoughts.
